Products to treat Athlete's Foot

If you treat your athlete’s foot infection with an anti-fungal treatment as soon as you spot the symptoms, it can quickly clear up. You can find the Canesten range of anti-fungal treatments on your high street. These treatments are easy to apply and penetrate into your skin to get rid of the infection and relieve the symptoms. Remember that you should always complete treatment even if your athlete’s foot starts to get better. That way you’ll make sure the infection is fully cleared.

Canesten® Powder

Canesten® Powder is a preventive drying powder that could be used as a follow up treatment to prevent re-infection by applying to feet, socks and shoes. Used in conjunction with Canesten® Cream, it provides relief from the irritation of athlete's foot.

Canesten® Cream

A soothing and effective treatment which treats athlete's foot. It contains an antifungal that works at the root of the problem. It contains Clotrimazole and is available in 10g and 20g.

Canesten® Plus Cream

Canesten® Plus cream is a dual-action treatment that contains Clotrimazole and Hydrocortisone. This can be applied directly onto affected area, providing fast* relief from athlete’s foot with symptoms like redness, itch and inflammation. Canesten® Plus cream is recommended for severe athelete’s foot with inflammation and treatment should not exceed 7 days. After 7 days, treatment should be continued with Canesten® cream.
