Canesten® Antifungal Cream Clotrimazole 1% can treat a broad range of fungal skin infections, which include ringworm, jock itch or a nappy rash in children.

Canesten® Antifungal Cream Clotrimazole 1% is a complete solution that stops the growth of, and kills fungi, and relieves the symptoms of a fungal skin infection.
The cream's formula is mild yet effective. It is easy to use, thus making it a suitable fungal infection treatment option for the whole family.

What is athlete’s foot?

It’s a fungal skin infection caused by fungi that thrive in warm and moist environments like changing rooms, showers and public pools. Walking barefoot in these places puts you at greater risk. Athlete’s foot usually occurs between your toes, but it can also affect the soles and sides of your feet.

How to use?

Apply a small amount of the cream to the affected area and rub it into the skin gently. Repeat 2-3 times a day for the indicated duration, and to continue for 2 weeks after the disappearance of symptoms to kill the root of infection.

Don’t forget!
Even if your symptoms have started to clear up, you should complete the full course of treatment to ensure that the infection has been fully treated.

    Canesten® Clotrimazole Cream 1% is used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, white spots, ringworm, fungal infection of the area around the nails, fungal infection of the skin folds, and skin redness/irritation (Erythrasma).     How long do I need to apply Canesten Clotrimazole Cream 1%?

    For athlete’s foot, ringworm, fungal infection of area around the nails, fungal infection of the skin folds: 3 – 4 weeks or as directed by physician.

    For skin redness/irritation (Erythrasma): 2 – 4 weeks or as directed by physician.

    For white spots: 1 – 3 weeks or as directed by physician.

    Candida vulvitis and candida balantitis - 1-2 weeks.

    To prevent reoccurrence of fungal infections of the feet, treatment should be continued for about 2 weeks beyond the disappearance of all symptoms.

    How long does it take for vaginal yeast infections/fungal skin infections to be resolved, post Canesten treatment?

    Symptoms of skin infection such as itching or soreness should improve within a few days, although signs such as redness and scaling may take a longer time to disappear. Note that individual responses may vary. If your symptoms persist, worsen and if there is no improvement after 4 weeks of treatment, please seek medical attention from your healthcare professional as soon as possible.
